IEP Middle school provides an exciting playing and learning atmosphere for young people to develop their own identity, form wishful opinions and dreams about life as they prepare for high school. We accept students into grades 6, 7 and 8 (6eme, 5eme and 4eme).
The focus of the IEP Middle School program is to build a robust foundation for students in key areas that will help unlock their potentials for success in high school and beyond. We place strong emphasis on the development of strong literacy and numeracy skills. Our goal is to ensure that each student achieves a minimum of a B grade in reading, writing and mathematics before progressing to high school. Another area of strong emphasis in IEP Middle School is the development of a high level proficiency in English as a Second Language as well as studies in a Native Language, acquisition in addition to French. We make conscious efforts to make our middle school a smooth transition phase in the education of our students in many ways. We integrate elements of high school education into the basic education to accustom them into the high school style of classes. We provide adequate support and mentorship to guide our students through the complex challenges of early adolescence.
