Courses
In IEP High School, students take personalized courses to meet their peculiar learning needs, career aspirations and academic strengths. Carefully chosen courses from our High School Course List assigned consciously to meet the class requirements, learning track, interests and the academic strength of the students.
Unlike the conventional system of course requirements in West Africa where students study from between 8 – 9 courses throughout their high school life, students under the IEP system are required to complete a minimum of 5 different courses each semester so that for the 4years of high school education, a minimum of 40 courses can be completed. This system provides the advantage of exposing students to variety of courses in the fields of English Language Arts, Math, Career and Technical Education, Visual & Performing Arts and in the Social Sciences. The system results in producing high school graduates who are functionally and career literate. Thus the required 40 high school courses may be distributed as follows:

Mathematics | 8 Courses | 40 Credits |
English Language Arts | 8 Courses | 40 Credits |
Elective Courses | 8 Courses | 40 Credits |
